Don't be fooled; Eva Longoria is not all lips, hips, breasts, and behind. Forward and blunt, Eva is unafraid to broach topics most women would shy away from. Admittedly, the rumors of Eva Longoria and Beyonce pairing up for a period lesbian drama about a cabaret singer and her feisty girl friend sounded more like some frat boy fantasy than reality. And now, the Desperate Housewives star has confirmed to People Magazine that talk of her pairing with the R&B songstress for an adaptation of lesbian author Sarah Waters’ Tipping the Velvet is nothing more than a rumor. “Stop the madness,” Longoria told People about the rumor that spread like wildfire over the weekend. “Believe me, I would love to work with Beyonce one day. She's so talented. But this is definitely not something we are doing together. It's completely and absolutely not true.” Perhaps part of the reason Longoria is so bent out of shape about the rumors is that quotes attributed to both actresses discussing the potential film are completely fabricated, according to Longoria. “What makes me crazy is that there are quotes out there, quotes from me saying it's true,” she tells People. “But in fact it's not true. And (there are) quotes of Beyonce saying it's about time we had a female Brokeback Mountain. And we're like, we never said that.” Currently, she is busily planning her wedding to French-born Tony Parker, basketball player extraordinaire.
